The Center for Advanced Wound Care is a fully-integrated outpatient wound center
at Hackensack University Medical Center. We employ a unique, multidisciplinary
approach and personalized care to improve the outcomes of patients with unresolved
and complicated wounds. We are staffed by a team of providers who specialize in the
treatment and provide a personal and individualized care plan to adult and pediatric
patients with non-healing complex wounds. Our staff consists of dedicated wound care
physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and hyperbaric technicians.
We provide aggressive evidence-based wound care treatment and management
including hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) to treat selected conditions. Our goal is to
heal chronic wounds, to preserve limbs and prevent wound recurrence.
